The Problem We Are Solving
Across Baltimore and communities throughout Maryland, fathers, families, youth, and young adults face barriers that can limit stability and opportunity. Fathers can struggle to remain actively involved in their children’s lives. Families in underserved communities may face financial instability, mental health challenges, and difficulty accessing the support they need. Young people can lack mentorship, educational support, career exposure, workforce readiness, and clear pathways to opportunity.

HFAC tracks participation, program completion, employment and apprenticeship connections, continued engagement, family stability, referrals to supportive services, and other outcomes that help us understand whether our programs are creating meaningful progress.
As our programs grow, we will continue strengthening how we collect and use data to improve services, demonstrate results, and stay accountable to the fathers, families, youth, and communities we serve across Baltimore and Maryland.
