Our Father Retreats provide fathers with a dedicated opportunity to step away from the demands of everyday life and invest in their mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Designed to strengthen fathers as individuals, parents, and community leaders, these retreats create a supportive environment where participants can recharge, reflect, and build meaningful relationships with other fathers.

Through guided discussions, peer support, leadership development, outdoor recreation, team-building activities, and wellness experiences, fathers develop healthier coping strategies, reduce stress, improve communication, and strengthen their parenting skills. Our retreats promote resilience, emotional wellness, and personal growth while encouraging fathers to return home better equipped to support their children and families.

In 2025, The Hurtt Fathers Advocate Corporation hosted a multi-day Father Retreat in Saugatuck, Michigan, where participating fathers received a $50 per hour stipend to remove financial barriers to participation. The retreat included activities such as hiking, fishing, wellness discussions, and leadership exercises designed to improve mental health, reduce isolation, strengthen family relationships, and foster long-term peer support.

We believe that investing in fathers is an investment in families. When fathers are given the opportunity to heal, grow, and lead with confidence, children benefit, families become stronger, and communities thrive. By prioritizing father engagement, mental wellness, leadership development, and peer support, our Father Retreats help fathers build healthier relationships, improve emotional well-being, and create stronger, more resilient families.
